jexpo and voclet 2015 examination for admission in polytechnic college

JEXPO is the entrance examination for admission to the diploma courses in government, government sponsored and self-finance Polytechnics in the state to be conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education and VOCLET is the lateral (2^nd year) entrance examination for this courses.

1. Date of Examination : 

    JEXPO 2015 - 12^th April, 2015.

     VOCLET 2015 - 26^th April, 2015.

2. Sale of OMR application Forms:

     24^th November to 22^th January, 2015. 

3. Last Date of submission for filled-in Application Forms:

     22^th January, 2015.

4. Availability of Application Forms with Information Brochure:

     From all polytechnics affiliated to WEBSCTE, other center in West Bengal selected by the council and one        center in Tripura.

5. Place of submission of duly-in Application Forms:

     To all the Polytechnics affiliated to WEBSCTE & other centers in West Bengal and one center in Tripura.

6. Applictaion Fees: 

     500.

7. Eligibility criteria of applicants;

     JEXPO:
                Passed or appeared 10th standard with at least 35% marks (without additional subject) at the                   qualifying  examination (without rounding-up).

     VOCLET:
                Passed or appeared 12th science with Vocational subjects from WBSCVET
      or passed 2 years ITI after 10th class.

8. Age criteria:
     JEXPO: No upper age limit, but candidate's date of birth should not be after 01.01.2000 for this year.
     VOCLET: There is no age limit.
